ORIGIN: Fujiian Province, China
DESCRIPTION: One of the famous WuYi Mountain Rock tea (yan cha), this heavily roasted, dark Oolong first presents a deep, smoky aroma. Caramelized undertones mellow into delicate floral notes, hint of minerals & lingering sweetness. Large, twisted leaves of deep greenish brown are pan-fired then dried (but not charcoal finished as are the costliest of Rock teas). Be sure to prepare several cups, as each will reveal surprising new flavors.
