Special Notes – OrangUtan in Sumatra and Borneo (Kalimantan in local language) face critical endangerment due to primarily habitat destruction. OrangUtan have been pushed out by mainly palm farms (for crude palm oil), logging, and even coffee plantations. We have named this coffee in honor of this cute ape – to bring awareness to critically endangered apes alive today.
